Separate the sample from the factory story.
A supplier-selected sample can help you judge that sample. It does not show defect rates across an uninspected production run. Keep sample review and any later production-inspection plan as different steps with different evidence.
Bring a current reference.
Listing screenshots, drawings, approved artwork, or a physical reference make the check measurable. A product name alone rarely defines size, contents, finish, or packing. Note units and tolerances for any dimension that would change your buy decision.
Look at packing and presentation, not only the hero product.
Many disputes start at carton protection, missing inserts, unclear instructions, or print that does not match approved files. An observational sample check can document those points when they are in scope—without claiming lab-level material or safety proof.
Start intake when you are ready to define the brief.
Open the inspection intake with what you are buying and what must be true. Or return to the ParcelWitness homepage for services overview first. ParcelWitness works from Shenzhen for the buyer; confirm acceptance and scope before you ship anything.
